Use 'P' or 'p' to toggle game pause. Use 'A' or 'a' to toggle audio on and off. Use space-bar to shoot laser. Use up-arrow key to jump. Use right-arrow key to go faster. Use left-arrow key to slow down.
This is a Java game that I developed over a number of years, starting in 2000. I used this as a way to learn Java and develop a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. As a bonus, my kids loved it! It's corny, and uses many of the sounds that come along with the FreeBSD operating system. But, it was a great way to solidify Java and OOP programming concepts.
